Looked at the rear fog's this morning and it is a separate lens so a flat lens from a light panel as in the thread you told me about will work, I am sure.
Just got to source an LED and it's a go.
Will be able to replace the original for our annual MOT.

Thanks again for your help Liquid, I will start a new post asking about the corner lights as you suggested.
