Is that easy to do, no need to replace a gasket if any? Awesome.

No need to replace the gasket if it comes out in one piece.

Sounds good, any tips on how not to damage the gasket?

Should not be a problem. It's a metalic gasket with a rubber insert. Just be careful not to bend it.

Mandy-nice up close pics and DIY instructions! Great job. My MAF was shiny new. But then again it was a San Diego car delivered in August 04 and had 38k miles on it.

I agree on the ratchet advice, EXCEPT for the filter. If you don't use a ratchet it can slide off, especially with the oil that is on it. Better to be safe than sorry. I was heavy handed on the ratchet and broke some nuts on the clamps, but that's what HD is for right?

Good luck Mandy-can't wait to hear your feedback. Did you get the heat shield?

Here's the finished product. Please do not flame me on the tie wrap. I bought the wrong size clamps. I trimmed the engine cover but need to fine tune it and paint it for a perfect install.

The best thing is IT SOUNDS GREAT! Well worth the investment x 2!

SCDROPTOP, this is better than the LED tail upgrade, I agree. This mod, you can feel and hear it.

I will post install pics later.

Here are the install pics. With a lot of prep time, works out fine.

It took me a while to get it lined up.

Some more of the install. I had a little issue on getting the bracket to slide in freely on the water pump housing bolt. With a bit of muscle power, it went it. But had to tighten the bolt to make it flush.

Very nice! If I was half decent with the Dremel I would attempt to cut the engine cover, but I know I'll mess it up haha

What size clamps do you need? I bought some about an inch wide. Planning to install it this weekend.
