Welcom to this great forum.

This happened also to me a week ago, it was to close the roof manually, at Lexus Täby they told me that my car had error code 2510, its been there for a week now waiting for parts. Perhaps I should have tried your tips first-you never know with electronics.

Greet thread

2510 error indicates an issue with one or more of the LH side motors out of sync...could be the same problem here, or the ECU, wire harness or gear drive...
All the motors have to stay in sync or the operation will stop.

Thank you "VVTiBob" for your support, Great help i´m going to print out this at once and forward it to the Lexus mechanicer whit the rest of this tread, even if they are a Lexus workshop, they say that they greatfully accept tips from this forum, then SC:n is not so common here in Sweden.

Thank guys

Question - The procedure that you followed in the manual, that's a 2-person job, right?
Oh yes, definately. My wife helped. The worst part was the first section, getting the trunk lid up and back, it's very heavy. After that, getting the top to the position where the window is vertical. I think from there, I did the rest myself. Now that I know how its done, I think I could do it fairly quickly.
