Default Tips for the exchange of the Mark Levinson stereo

I am not happy with the sound sytem and therefore have purchased the following equipment, almost the same as I had in my previous convertible (Volvo C 70).

Alpine CDE 117Ri CD receiver / USB and IPod / IPhone cotroller.
Alpine PDX-FX Amplifier 4x150w for front and rear speakers.
Alpine PDX-M12, 1200w for the subwoofer/s
Subwoofer 1 or 2 x Pioneer TS-SW2501S4. depending on if I build a box or just replace the subwoofer inback seat.
DLS UX 26 Coaxial for the rear seat (i.e. if they are 6.5 " original)

Some of the parts.

I will also change the speakers in the front doors.

Questions:

Hints that I should think about when I replace the main unit, if someone has a description of how to remove the main unit.
What happens to the Navigator when I replace the head unit, because it uses the left speaker?
The speakers in the doors, what sizes are theire?
The speakers in the back seat, what sizes are theire? 6.5" ?
The Subwoofer in therear seat, it looks lika a 8", right ?

How to dismantle it easiest headunit and door panels?

Thanks in advance.

All of your questions have been answered in previous threads repeatedly. The Search/Advanced search tool is your best bet, along with a little time spent on your part.

For example I did an advanced search for the word "speakers" and my user name limited to the SC430 forum and found several threads like this one: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...ub-woofer.html

A second advanced search, same parameters except changed the keyword to "wiring" gets you wiring diagram which you or your installer will need to decipher the pin connectors. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...gger-wire.html

Good luck with the rest. While not impossible, the integration will present you with some complicated challenges, like finding door speakers that sound good but can physically fit, (depth is the clue here) in the space so the window functions properly.
