Turtle Wax Black Detailer Spray - review
Decided to try out Turtle Wax Black detailer spray on my kinda black sc (midnight pine pearl). I was very impressed! Easy to apply and buff leaving a nice deep mirror shine. I was so pleased I am going to pick up a couple of the other TW Black products next weekend. I will post my thoughts.

I bought it b/c it is supposed to be formulated for "black" cars, so I figured it would be interesteing to try it on the Midnight Pine. I wouldn't say it was much different from the other detail sprays I have tried but the liquid is black (instead of clear or white) which I found interesting, and it was very easy to use.

Very nice....Turtle Wax may be making a comeback. Their rubbing compound literally took out my key scratch on mine back in Nov.
I still think Zaino and Gloss-It might be on another level, but car detailing products are like vodkas...
Everyday cleaners...Maybe Turtle Wax, Meguires like everyday vodka drinkers for mixes, martinis, etc= Stoli, Absolut (not bad...)
But when you want to impress, you must bring the best...Zaino/Gloss-It= Hangar One, Effin, Goose, LOL

Funny i was just talking to my boss this morning about detailing my car with turtle wax black. he has 2008 black corvette and it's gorgeous. i told him about our forum and somebody just post a turtle wax black for detailing. he said i should let him know if the product is great... Sapherynth, guess i can share your pix to my boss to prove that the product works. I will apply it to mine as well.

The Black box wax is great for black cars also. Gives a very deep shine. I put a layer of Mequiers Gold paste followed with the Turtle Wax Black Box. Was a day project but was worth it if your are a car buff. I read mix reviews on using a so called black filler wax/detailers. For my 98LS I get the best results with this process.

If you've got a couple days and nothing to do, I'd give aquanuke's method a try.
