So I followed the footsteps of the masters. I installed 3.76 differential from 94 auto supra TT. I think the 3.76 differential is very ideal for SC430. The car shifts just before the redline. 15% extra torque to the wheels is very noticeable. No wonder many GS owners love this mod.
If you guys are planning to do performance mods for your car, I would recommend getting this mod done first. It's not easy to find the part however. More reviews can be found here:

Awesome! This is one mod always in the back of my mind. It may be the only other upgrade I end up doing...eventually... Question though, I've read a couple reviews about it. Is it harder to handle on corners? Too easy to spin the tires? I guess I should ask what width tires you have too.

Yeah, but here's an alternative. There should be plenty of those and cheap.

Does it matter if you get the NA or TT or Single Turbo? Obviously it has to be an auto right? Any year better?? I wonder if the 92-97 Supra had any changes to the LSD? I saw some on eBay a while ago that were 3.91. Would that be even better?
Very interesting! Looks like a real easy install too!

Ahhhh, nevermind I think I see the 3.91 was from the previous Gen MkIII Supra. I found this interesting site:

Someone said that you can get from Carson Toyota?? A new one??? Must be a fortune! I scrolled through their parts listing and didn't see it.
EDIT: found it!

So this mod will increase torque by 15%? That's a huge increase and very noticeable but what's the down side? Less horse power? Usually, when torque is increases, HP decreases. No?

HP remains the same, but expect 2-3 less MPG

15% of 300 lbs is 45 lbs of torque. I think that's worth 2-3 miles per gallon sacrafice or at least for now but if the gas prices go up any higher, it may not be worth it.
