Default Muffler delete

Yesterday i started doing my exhaust. I started by deleting the muffler. Don't sound bad at all but, there is a drone between 1000 - 2000 thats got to go. I do not like it so it must go. It sounds really good just sitting there, that i like. Now comes the hard part getting my mufflers made and were the cat. is in the center, getting the X pipe put in its place. will keep all informed as i go.

Nice, take a pic of the underneath the car when all is said and done. sounds like you're going with a true dual design? I'm glad youre removing the third cat, its the best thing you can do as far as performance and sound

putting the X crossover in is the only way to go, it cause the 2 sides to mix and causes a tumbling effect that makes the exhaust sound softer + cause more horsepower. as you can see these muffler are not round or oval.

Agreed, either an X or an H pipe

I don't think a stock SC430 has x pipe, it has y pipe in the front which makes it not a true dual exhaust system in some people's definition.

In order to do a real x or h pipe setup, the oem front y pipe, center y pipe and muffler need complete replacement.

Good good, seems like it's taking such a long time. Hopefully the install goes faster.
