Default fog lights one blown lamp

One of my fog lights lamp died this evening. I am thinking of replacing them with HIDs.

Anyone has done this and does anyone know what the flog lights bulb part number is? ie H1, H3 etc

I just installed H3 HID 6000k colour. Compared to the stock HID the 6000k has a blue tint. Damn, I should had brought 4300k colour HID lamp instead.

It took about 1.5 hours to install. I didn't remove the all the wheel arch lining, just enough room for my hands to get in there and pull the lamps out.

Now looking at the parking light it seems like the bumper has to come off to get to the parkers? Is this right!!!

In Australia, the orange so call lights on the bumpers are not connected they are just orange blanks.

The parking lights are the small lights that are in the main headlight assembly. This is what they are are called in Australia. To get to the small lights, it seems the front bumper has to come off.

The front bumper can stay, you just need to un-attach the top part so you can have room to unbolt the headlight assembly. Here's a picture that shows where the bumper clips and bolts are located. I think you should also remove the grille for more flexibility. 4 plastic clips and 2 bolts for the bumper, 3 bolts for the grille.

I replaced my parking lights through the wheel well.
