Default Glove Box Light Help

My glove box light is not working. The bulb is OK, the continuity from the switch to the bulb is OK, the switch is OK. All fuses are OK including the 5amp identified for this light. Everything else seems to be working just fine.

I'm not getting any power to the switch via that wire nor to the opposite wire at the bulb. Does anyone know if the wire to the switch (then to the bulb) is positive or if the opposite wire at the bulb is positive? i.e. is the switch positive or negative? Trying to find the break in the wiring, where does the wiring trace back to? Anyone have a wiring diagram of this area?

Thanks for any help.

the glove box light will come on if and only if the headlight switch is at least turn to the first clickstop.

Wow, I've never heard of that before. I'm sure that's the solution, I'll verify tonight when I get home. I was trying to resolve something that wasn't a problem, I'm just glad you educated me before I tore apart a wiring harness. Thanks talwang.

Default Unbelieveable but true

Could not believe but it is solid truth - follow the wiring diagram for info too.
