Default Possible roof issue???

When I lower or raise the top there are times when the side of the trunk that is cabled will lower down normally, but the passenger side of the trunk that is not cabled will get hung up for a moment or two and the trunk lowers kind of cocked to one side, but yet still closes and chimes signifying no issue.
However, I worry that one day it will hang so long that it will become an issue. Is there a lubricating spray I can use on the hinges on that side...I think that could be the problem…maybe just sticky???

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated before I do run into a "STUCK" roof!!!!

Thanks!

I'm trying to figure out what you mean by the "cabled" side.

There's a retractable cable on the driver's side trunk hinge but, that's just the wiring for the 3rd brake light (it retracts so it doesn't get tangled).

If the passenger side hinge is sticking, you could use some white lithium grease (spray it into a container, then use a q-tip or something to apply it - If you just spray it onto the hinge, it'll get everywhere!).

My $.02

Oh...that's what I'm referring to...the retractable third brake light cable on the driver's side hinge. I will try the lithium grease on the passenger side hinge and see if that helps.

Thanks!
