Help! Antenna won't go down!
Hey all,
My problem is that the antenna won't go down even when I turn off my car/radio. I didn't even know that this is a problem until someone pointed out to me. The antenna would pull up normally when I turn on the radio. I read another post (SC430 FAQ) that said the problem can be fixed via DIY. Can anyone show me how I can fix this before I bring it to the dealership? I have searched the forum and looked through 9 pages of results, but did not find the answer. Thanks in advance.

Tru putting in some pressure on the ant when it is going down. WD40 will help too.

If you use the "advanced search" tool you can really narrow the scope of what you're searching for and you'd find the answers.... Here's the thread ( https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...enna-woes.html )where I posted a few PDFs and others had your same or similar problems. Along with this TSB on antenna mast replacement

Most likely the mast is slightly bent and needs to be replaced. They may or may not replace it under warranty. They may try to weasel out of it and say you bent it. But if you tell them it never went down and you didn't know it was supposed to until someone pointed it out, they should fix it.

Try it, they will probably replace it. Good luck.

Since you have the CPO, just call your service advisor at Lexus and ask him if it is covered. It should be.
