Default My sc430 with new wheels....My wife idea...now is her car

Ladies & Gent,
Today is a sad day for me...giving up my sc430 to my lovely wife .
This is her idea of cruising SC (was mine) down the streets!!!! My 6 disc alpine DVD changer along with NavTool also installed last weekend to make her happier . I'm hoping she would allow me to buy a Nissan GTR in a year or two ..............let me/us know if this look is alright!!!!!!! Thanks Ned

Default Thanks

My SC430, my bad her sc430 isn't in the driveway as of we speak, she just texts me...complaining about the buzzzzzzzzzzing noise from the door speakers . My Dc Gold 6x9 (8ohm) set is on the way already!!!
Any one remember there was a shop called Quicksilveracing in MD selling a fully built engine last year in the sc430 classified forum? Erik from this shop sold me that engine with tranny combo. They are in this blue devil (my wife sc430).... I gave up on the project "turbo" this car. I sold my Rotora 14" F+R BBK to VietPrince already........My Iforged Aero 20" set is damage from hitting pot holes ...........guess whom?
I fool my wife with some Endless brake/calipers cover as you can see in the pictures.......she has no idea

you know what i was thinking...20s in the back and 19s on the front would look sharp on the wheels- did you paint the calipers or are those swapped out?

"did you paint the calipers or are those swapped out? "
Robertrios,
Those are just brake caliper covers...yes, a piece of plastic that covers the ugly stock calipers on our sc430............Take care Ned

Very nice wheel..........but anyone think they look better in sliver then chrome? 20" look kinda big on the sc without a drop/kit. it lifted up the SC 0.5~1 inch

I'm still waiting for my 19" Forgestar F05 to arrive...Finally convince "wife" as the pie wheel look dump without a drop. btw, its technically her car for me too

looks like you're still at stock height. you could probably go 1/2" - 1" lower in front and at least 1 1/2" lower in back and it'll look a lot better.

Liquid SC,
This Sc430 looks stock height due to the way the pictures were taken. I've lowered it as much as I could.......the rear sometime rubs (very little) hitting speed bumps, pot holes etc...I barely could fit my index finger between the gap of the wheel well and tire...same with the front ones.....I was advised to run stretch tires to get her lowered a little more.
If I were driving, I would have done that. This Sc430, my wife drives almost daily during nice weather months. I did not want to run 225-35-20 & 265-30-20 tires. If I did, this Sc430 would be a lot lower Ned
