Unfortunately MVA-11L does not retain factory steering wheel controls.

I spoke to Eric today and he said that the steering wheel controls are lost. He said you need an steering wheel module but they do not make one. He said to check with a company like Axxess. I did and they don't have such a module. However I know it's been done so just a matter of time to locate someone who has had this done.

OK guys, here is what I found out about steering wheels controls. First the model of after market radio needs to be identified, secondly, Crutchfield sells steering wheel conversion kits, about sixty nine dollars. There are several kits for different brands of Head units. For example this link is for a Pioneer radio.

The fly in the ointment here is to find a wiring diagram for the Steering wheel switches. Then it is a simple matter to wire up the controls. After market head units use a three contact single plug and the control unit is programmed for each switch operation such as vol up and down, mode, etc......You probably can find a stereo shop who can do this for you.
