Hi guys, it has been a while since I posted anything on CL!
I have been driving my 02SC for several months now and I continually notice how rough the ride is, especially over our non-ideal Wisconsin roads. Yesterday I took it in for an oil change at the Toyota dealership and I asked them to look over the shocks.
The mechanic said there was some fluid around them, and at some point I should get them replaced...which is my question to you all.
Should I get the front shocks replaced with Lexus OEM parts for $392...or should I just bite the bullet for Megan EZ Coilovers at roughly $900 for the front and rear installed?
My SC has the factory pie plates so I am not worried about lowering the car...my biggest hope is that doing something with the shocks will help improve the ride.

If you have run flat tires, you might want to consider replacing those with regular tires to improve the ride. If the car is bouncing around or if the shocks are bottoming when going over a speed bump, then new dampers are a must.
I have EZ's on mine and I'm extremely happy with them. The ride is very comfortable + you’ll have the convenience to set the ride height to your liking.
I would definitely go with the EZ’s

I have had two different mechanics look over the suspension; they both thought everything looked tight. I have a third who will be taking a look at it as well, so thanks for suggesting that as well!

To me it's a no-brainer on the Megans versus the OEM's. For a few hundred more you have adjustable height, dampening and a better look. My 05 with 38k on it rode tremendously better after the change just based on the same roads I travel. Much more sportier, responsive, etc.
