My longest with the SC is Oceanside, CA to Beaverton, OR = 1,050 miles; did it once in the SC & once in my '03 Tacoma. Both took about 16 hours. UGGHHH

My longest straight shot was in my former '97 BMW 840Ci, from Beaverton, OR to Sheridan, OR ( to pickup someone ) and then to Kingman, AZ = 1300 miles. Left Beaverton @ 5:00 AM & got to Kingman @ 2:30 AM the next morning.

No, I do not want to do it again.

PS) I once hitch-hiked from Edwards AFB in Southern California to Portland, OR with only a grand total of about 1 hour standing along side of the road waiting for a ride.

A couple of years ago I moved from Atlanta to Long Beach CA and decided to drive my SC rather than have it shipped. A little over 2200 miles in 2.5 days (around 900 miles each the first two days, only 400 the last, got to Long Beach at noon). Loved the drive! Great comfortable car and could actually bring a surprising amount of stuff with me. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Oh yeah, regular tires, no spare, but a couple of cans of fix-a-flat, just in case...
