It is called a net / baggage holder. Sewell's price is $8.55 + shipping with CL discount. Specify either ecru or black.

Hi A1,

IMO here is the problem with such a small order. You will pay as much or more for just the shipping. You could go to your local Lexus dealer & pay a 'little more' for it but no shipping. Yes, I know; some gas but if you are in the area.

When I had my BMW, we had a dealer in NY who gave us great discounts ( sorta like Sewell ) and was great to work with. I bought a small item & paid more than it cost in shipping. My 'savings' were ~ $1.00 on the purchase. My BMW dealer is ~ 2 miles from where I live.

Lesson learned.

^^^ I agree if your dealer is nearby. Mine is 220 miles RT. To save on shipping costs, the OP should consider other goodies...cabin filter, air filter, serpentine belt... or those black plastic push pins we all break

And for those interested, the PN is 58299G and can be ordered here http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-cat...C430-2005.html

Hi Jerry,

For Sewell (and the like) I make a list of items I need and I do my shopping when I have raked up a few items. I also encourage my friends to give me their orders (such as oil and air filters, etc.). So we all end up sharing the shipping cost which works for everybody.

Plus Sewell's shipping charges are so reasonable to start with.

And of course no sales tax (so far, some gentle people are trying to pass a law that will collect taxes on the internet, regardless of location). Hope they fail.

I got mine also from Sewell and ordered 3, knowing that I will be an owner for many years to come. The shipping was the same as for 1. I also have 3 sets of new mats in storage. The mats (ebay) varied in price from $40-$80 and were all new. Since this car had a 9 year production run, parts and accessories will get harder (and more expensive) as time goes on. I found there was much more available for the SC 430, when I bought mine in June 08 than there is now.

Hi Mandy,

That's great idea. The downside is, for me, that there are no SC owners anywhere near me.

Anyone installed a second net on the driver's side? My wife wants one to hold all her stuff that used to fit better in the RX.

Suggest to go for it. Just need to design the corner holders and you can use other fasteners. However, you do not want anything that will interfere with the driver's leg.
