tiny leak - roof-windscreen junction
Two weeks ago in a deluge on a slightly rough road I noticed a fewdrops on the driver and passenger side at the junction of the A-pillar and roof. This is a well-maintained '02 (new to me) that spent its life in Texas, and the seals feel soft and pliable. I suspect body twisting on the rough road (especially at a rough RR crossing) allowed the seal at the window to break momentarily right where the seal from the roof overlaps the seal from the A-pillar.
Hardly a problem since the car is tight in normal rains, but still just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I know that this area is a complex interaction of window adjustment, roof fit, seal condition, and maybe the seal at the mirrors. But curious if, for example, the snugness of the roof latch at the windshield ever needs adjustment?
Thanks,
Kelly

Can you take a picture of the location of the leak so we can see?

I noticed the same while driving in an extremely bad rain storm. About 5-6 drops slowly came in from where the roof meets the frame on the front passenger side corner. The only reason I knew it happened is because my gf let out a shriek as the drops landed on her leg lol

A drop of water can solicit that "shriek!"

Doesn't that usually happen if it falls on a Wicked Witch? While I am not implying Redliner's GF is a Witch, I do believe proof of this phenomenon with water can be found in the the latter parts of the Wizard of Oz. BTW also watch out for falling houses if you're a Witch (same movie, but much, much earlier in the tale).

I've searched for the trunk stop adjustment thread - found a recent one for rattles at the rear window - is that the one (the single rubber stop accessed by stopping the roof just as it settles in the trunk, before the package shelf closes)? Is there another thread - just give me a key word for searching since my choices aren't helping.

I doubt that an adjustment in trunk will influence a leak at the A-pillar.
Have you looked at the little triangle weatherstripping on the front (top) of the door that surrounds the mirror mount? Those often split at the very top and could be openning for a leak. (There are threads with instructions on how to replace those in this forum.)

The leak is high up, on the a-pillar where it meets the roof.
I tried searching, and there doesn't seem to be many threads talking about leaks from the front. Most of it is for leaks by the trunk.
