Wouldn't it be COOL if all the CL members in Southern California could meet up at "Cruisin for a Cure" at the OC fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. I went last year and had my SC as part of the show. It actually opens at 4:30 am (I got there at 9) and goes until 3. You can either sit by your SC as all the cruisers go by or you can go out cruising by yourself. There a small timed track that you could enter and there is the attached swap meet that my wife loves so much. They had over 3000 cars last year. Entry cost is $40 and goes to the American Cancer Society. This is so much fun and can be a great way to the SC 430's together. The date is Saturday September 24th and this is their web site:

I would.

But only if we could get it organized for us to all park our cars together.

There are so many car shows in So Cal (Cars & Coffee every Saturday for example) that I would need it to be more of a SC430 meet. A chance to get to know people on the boards and see their mods. I think if we were scattered it would be harder to find each other, especially if we are wandering around.

 

Last year I didn't arrive until 9am and ended up at the far south end of the parking lot--BUT it was still on the cruise route and plenty of empty spaces. We could have had 20 spots together. It was further from the events, but it is really cool to be on the cruise route because everyone passes right in front of you OR you can take the SC out to cruise yourself. I love the cars n coffee in irvine but its not the same as cruising. I would love for this to turn into a meet.
