tires: Ventus v12 or Conti DWS need opinions
Hi All,
I am getting rid of the runflats after some back breaking potholes. The 2 tires recommended here and in my range are Continental DWS and the Hankook Ventus V12. The car will be driver in the winter months too - as long as there is not too much snow/ice (i live in VA). NOt sure how either does in the winter months. Also i prefer a cushy / quiet ride :-) Please let me know your recommendations.
THANKS!!!

I've had Conti Extreme Contacts on my MBZ before. They were good, this is a new model. One of the best tire resources is Discount Tire.
I scanned the Conti's and stopped right there! 4.5 rating out of 5 and dozens of reviews done on performance sedans and coupes with 18" low profile tires like yours. Very good comments about snow/ice. Of course you know that the SC is generally not good on snow/ice, but being in VA you have no choice!
