Has anyone installed an iSimple Tranzit on a 430?
My brother installed one a corvette and loves it.
Clear sound since it is an FM modulator and not an FM transmiter...no interferance since, as I undertand it, when the Tranzit is activated it replaces the radio rather than transmitting over a set frequency.
I see where someone put one on an RX300 but do not know if radios are similar.
Thanks

I just installed a unit on my 2009 RX350. The controls appear on the navigation screen and you control the ipod with the touch screen instead of trying to put on glasses and mess with the small ipod screen. I love it.
I don't think it is an iSimple Tranzit but it works great. Installed by Bluetooth Valet, San Diego, CA. Came to my house and did the entire job in my driveway. I highly recommend them.

nope, you gotta use the Vaistech SLU I have mine connected in conjunction with the navtool so I could have the sound and ipod screen pop up for video if I wanted but Instead I have a back up camera, a WD Media Player, and my ipod only hooked up to sound. If you do a search i think i uploaded a pic of my set up a while back. I think 05 or 06 + had the factory sat radio which is what is allowing people to use things like isimple and the Vaistech units which allow on screen displays and perhaps steering wheel controls.

I haveca Parrot MKi9100 that I installed myself on my 2002 SC430. It has an iPod connector, USB connector and an aux connector, plus it has Bluetooth for hands free phone.

I had to get the plug and play cable separately. It was $100 on ebay. Trying to use the harness that comes with the kit would be a nightmare. I also got the Parrott on ebay.
