My steering wheel tilts up and down but recently stopped going in or outward even when you turn the car off it doesn't tilt away. Has anyone experienced this issue? I'm thinking the switch has gone bad.

Question: does it tilt in/out when you manually try to do it and it just stopped working when you enter/exit?

Have you recently had it serviced or had the ECU reset or battery replaced/dead?

Older model LS's had some known problems with the small motor for the steering tilt going bad but we really haven't seen much on the SC. Let us know....

It doesn't tilt in or out when i manually try to do it only up or down works.

It sounds like either the switch is dirty or something in that system has gone bad. If the car is still under warranty, I'd bring it in to the dealer and let them deal with it.

Yeah sorry to tell you either switch or something else. Best to take it in, especially if you are covered under warranty. Keep us posted.
