The Most Dangerous SC430 In the World..PICS!
Okay, So i was not going to post this at all and have avoided it like the plague but after so many private messages from club lexus members!!!,
I thought I might as well share the story and confront the conspiracy theorists.
So there I was minding my own business admiring my new 06+ conversersion when something caught my eye. A tiny flash of light from underneath my car. WTF I thought and went to investigate. Baffled, I walked into the police station to perhaps get assistance. 10 mins later half the town was shut down and a bomb alert was put out to eventually have the police realise it was a tracking device. Tracking Device ???? "yes" said the office. Installed by PI's who were instructed to follow my every move by my wife !! Reason... Well a new sc430 apparently may potentially attract female attention. This means that If one is flooded with new potential female choice, then their wife's position needs confirmation that its at the forefront of the husbands agenda with his new sports car ( If you don't get the logic, neither do I !)
The plot thickens. Two days later, my phone doesnt stop ringing. Why is my phone rining like crazy from 6am I thought !! The UK press (efficient as hell) Managed to get pics of me off my facebook, pics of her, pics or me, pics of the SC430 in question off This Forum and quotes from the police to create a full page spread on virtually EVERY printed national newspaper and publication in the United Kingdom , 270 sources on google news. It was top story in 16 different countries in different languages, It hit the new york post, new york times, MSN.com . Sky News (TV) and several you tube videos posted about it. It became viral and was the most talked about story on the homepage of two of the UKs biggest papers. WTF.
I swear lexus owe me money for all that advertising they got. Today, drama over but the odd reporter still turning up at front door !!
The really interesting thing in all this is that I did NOT speak to any press about the happenings of that fateful Sunday but some claim to actually quote me..lol
