Best way to play catch up is to take the best advice on the forum, which we all have done as newbies: Read the Sticky Threads and use the big SEARCH tab up above. It's very easy.

Now, I was not chippy or short with you at all, in fact gave you a very thorough informative response back... Not sure why you felt compelled to ask me for patience. The point is:

A simple search for "ipod" would have revealed a dozen or so quality posts, not thousands. Try it.

Before you post a basic question next time, just keep in mind these cars are now 10+ years old and if you are thinking of it, we have probably thought of it too and talked about it many many times.

 

I have a 2004 SC430 with the SLU. My installer set it up for both the 3.5 audio and an Apple cable. While using he Apple Cable (from iSimple) the iPod/iPhone is charged with no problem.
