My serpentine belt started to make squeaking noise in the morning at 55k miles. Changed it in 20 mins myself. The belt still looked good, not much wear on it.

I just did my timing belt, waterpump, hydraulic tensioner, etc over the weekend. '02 with 93K miles on it. Texas car. The belt looked as good as those that were posted on this thread. Hydraulic tensioner was still strong, idler and tension pulley bearings (both of which I replaced) for the timing belt felt smooth. Waterpump ditto. But I sure feel better now that the job is done.

In fact, the only thing wrong I found was the radiator cap - fished the spring and a rubber seal out of the radiator.
