Default Looking for a 2010 SC 430

I have decided to purchase a 2010 SC 430 and was wondering if anybody might know where or who might have one. I have searched the web and only found a few. I am in California, but for the right car am willing to travel. Thanks for any help.

There weren't many 2010s made to begin with. And very few people are going to be looking to sell after only 1-2 years. So you're not going to find a whole lot. If you're willing to extend your search back to 2008, you'll have a lot more to choose from. And if you find one in excellent condition, you can use the money you save to buy an extended warranty and still come out ahead. Or if you wait until spring, you'll find more on the market. Spring and summer are typically the best time to sell a convertible.

Must be a typo...surely not? $56 instead of $36 must be. Unless it's a flood car. The dealers other cars listed are not super exceptionally low in price nor do they appear to be a flood/damage seller. Perhaps it is a typo.

If not...I'll buy it!!!

I think only 300 '10 SC430 were sold in the U.S.

It's gonna be difficult to find, but I'm on the same boat. I want the 2010 only, because of the omission of the cassette deck, and the upgraded newest-generation Nav system.

I'm not a fan of the cassette deck, but I also think it looks a little weird without it. They didn't rearrange anything on the stereo face. They just left a hole where it used to be.

If I were looking to buy an SC, I'd be more inclined to do a 2006+ with an aftermarket stereo. The navigation is probably plug and play if you want to upgrade that to the latest edition. A few people have upgraded from the 02-05 nav to 06+.

There are significant differences between 06-09 SC and the 2010 SC Nav and HVAC controls - in the 2010 the interface was significantly changed so that most of the HVAC controls are adjusted via the Nav touch screen. I personally would avoid that if you wanted to keep the car for many years because you'd be stuck keeping that very soon to be completely obsolete Nav system and screen in good repair.

Jabberwock makes a great point...although the full integration of the HVAC is through the nav screen and convenient, it also hinders manual control of anything. 02-09 allows you to truly control without the nav screen.

The only thing IMO that the 09-10 offers over the 2006-2008 models are the illuminated side mirrors and the aforementioned new nav with iPod on the 2010. Even Huy's 2009 doesn't have the iPod/USB interface. Only the 2010 had that. 2009 offers you the cool mirrors, but I believe you can find a bunch of them on eBay and perhaps retrofit if that's your thing!

I recently had a CT for a loaner car and it took me a good while to get used to controlling everything on the screen. Nav screens do become inop, have their share of problems, keeping them clean, etc.

A really clean 2008 CPO is nearly $20k less than a 2010!

Spinhar-not sure where you are at in Cali, but here is a sweet 2008 silver on black with 37k miles CPO (3 year/100k warranty) for just under $40k. I bet you could get closer to $37k. Very clean...sharp with chrome wheels in Carlsbad. Great thing about the CPO program is that you are getting a car that's been picked apart with a very discriminate 164 point inspection and items are replaced/repaired that are not up to new Lexus standards. Worn wipers, weak battery, cracked belts, hoses, dirty fluids, worn tires, TLC on the paint, interior are usually all refreshed with the CPO process.

Default I am in Los Angeles

and am looking for a very low mileage car, preferably the 2010. I have been looking at the CPO list, but yet nothing stands out. I seem to like the red, silver, with light interiors. Also would be interesting to see the color - Costa Azul Mica
