I will probably put the lexus stickers on the calipers this summer when i feel like taking the wheels off.:-)

@A1Lexus...no I just replaced the parking light bulb because it was out. After reading all the post about replacing lights\bulbs seem more of a hassle to get at the rest. The parking light bulb seemed more difficult than it should of been but I got to it. My speakers were ripped all the way around so glueing didn't seem like the best, so I ordered those CADENCE XM698 250 WATT 6x9 8-OHM. I just needed something decent, so will let everyone know how they sound once they arrive.
Nice looking car.

Very interested in knowing how new speakers sound. I thought i was just told that the factory ones are 20-40 watts?? Help! I gotta do something soon. I miss my Jeff beck and Bela Fleck.

I recieved the CADENCE XM698 250 WATT 6x9 8-OHM speakers for my doors. There was one problem with the speakers, they did not sit flush inside the speaker assembly bracket. Which is the plastic ring that holds the speaker inside the door. So I had to use my imagination, so I took a pair of vice grips and carefully broke the plastic edging inside to allow for the new speaker to have clearance. Once I did that, it was a snug fit, installed the screws to stablize the assemble and the speaker. Then connected the connectors and screwed back in the door and my speakers were good to go and sounded great IMO. Here are a few pictures, it took about a hour or so, not sure how much money I saved but the speakers were 88 bucks total. My OEM speakers were ripped all the way around the outer edges, I wasn't confident that a repair would last long so this solution seems to work with a little imagination. Once I broke the inner edges off I could of been a true craftsmen an sanded the ruff edges down to make it smooth, maybe if it was a nice sunny summer saturday. :-)
