you know those wheels on ebay?
Thanks to the sticky and a few recommendations from this forum, I was able to fit a pair of what ebay sellers called an "aggressive" wheel that "required" some fender rolling to fit our car.
The 20" XXR wheels that you can see on ebay for a pretty good price. As a thank you to the forum (I'm usually a lurker), I've decided to share the progress.
I have lowered the car with Megan coil overs. Right now the car sits high for the wife....no further comment on that.
I did have it lowered on MRR GT5 20" staggered setup, but it just didn't seem to match this car's style. I think the whole thing would look better about 2" lower, but once again, the wife.
One thing not mentioned in the sticky in detail was tire size.
This example has some pretty good stretch going on to ensure clearance.
(Falken FK452 225/35 20 and 255/35 20)
I think I could probably go as wide as 275/30 in the back and 245 in the front without any mods.
My total clearance (tire to lip gap) is a little over 4mm, but it works!
Lastly, it was the wife's choice to "murder" the car out........so blame her.
