I'll add you and your wife to my prayer list too car buff. I've been where you are and it is a good feeling to know people have you in their prayers. I hope you both do well and get to look back at this tough time as a bump in the road later on.

Car buff,

Best wishes to you and your wife on your recovery and long term health.

Early post mentioned a wheelchair, I suggest you look at a "transport" chair which is a very compact type of wheelchair. I 've had success with this over several years while caring for two elderly parents during their last 5 years befor passing. The transport chair made it so much easier for me to transport them from car to doctor's office or just shopping .

Hopefully you won't need one, but if so this is real handy and most people are not aware of it or it 's benefits.
