I just wanted to share with everyone that I have finally picked up my car. I picked it up on Wednesday in the middle of the "Nor-Easter storm here in New York. The rain and the wind did not stop me from having my fun. I still had a great time driving it home.
As far as the Run-Flats. I had the impression that all new SC's where going to be equiped with the Dunlops. But my car came with the Bridgestones.
Needless to say I was a little upset. But the dealer was great. They stated that the cars come with Dunlops and Bridgestones. If I wanted to change to the Dunlops that it would not be a problem. Well, before making this story too long I ended up testing the cars with the Dunlops and my car and I found no difference. So I stuck with the Bridgestones. Maybe the new Bridgestones are also softer?
Anyway I love the car. Can't wait to wax it, if the weather lets me. I will post picks in the gallery soon.

You may want to check out the treadwear, Bridgestones seem to wear a lot quicker and are noisier.

I doubt their is much difference in either of the tires. The treadwear ratings is all but useless as there is no standard. One companies 200 is anothers 300. People do have preferences though. I kind of feel like it doesnt matter unless you go with super expensive tires. Run-flats excluded being that you are paying for that and not so much for anything else. Bridgestone has a nice sets of tires. I dont remember, maybe the S-02??? I have P-Zeros on my car and I absolutely love them, but they are very expensive and I dont drive the car often.

I was able to play with the top only inside the dealer. Once I left it was like rocks on the winshield !!
