Well, it only took me 20 years and 2 months to the day to part with the keys to my 1992 SC400 to get NEW keys to a 2009 SC430 Pebble Beach Special Edition. I guess timing was in the cards.
I loved my SC400 which had 110,600 miles at trade in SO I know I am going to continue my love affair with the SC430 which only had 16,000 miles...the prior owner was barely breaking it in,[but did pay the depreciation to which my bank account is thankful]
Amazing though after 20+ years, many of the feature buttons are so similar, making it quite comfortable to get behind the wheel and drive.
I live in New England so winter snows are a must, along with the extra tubs of sand in the trunk.
just can't get it off my face

Congrats! Good time to buy a vert up in MA!
Welcome! Post some pics when you have a chance. Many of us owned first gen SC's as well, I'm one of them. Though there are some similar feels and operation between the two, just wait till you learn all the tricks your new SC will do! I don't want to spoil it for you...check out the sticky threads up top, remember search is your # 1 source of information and check out one of my ALL TIME favorite threads here:

I wish we had the Nakamichi from the first Gen SC though. Don't miss getting out to the trunk to change one of my 12 cd's! LOL
Enjoy!
