Im guessing the PBs go for alot extra? My 04 had 8k when I bought it and I only paid like 4k more than this. You can get some 06+ non PBs for this price range in similar milage. In my opinion the PBs and Nordstroms editions of the SC are not worth it since they dont offer any performance upgrades or anything of that nature. But thats just me!

That's pretty much my opinion as well. Most of them are color combinations that were available standard in Japan. But we only got the most common colors here. I do like the headlights on the '05 PB, but if it were me, I'd be looking at a standard '06.

Unfortunately a PB won't get you any more $$$ than a non PB on book value. It gives you the gratitude of knowing that you own a VERY limited production car aka 1 out of a couple hundred made. That and you'll gain some drools and positive stares when you go to car meets.

The biggest headaches when owning a PB is trying to find replacement parts for the car. Internally all SC430s are the same but the interior on each PB is very color specific. So with each year model PB being very limited, their interior part is also very hard to find. I'm taking about headrests, seats, floormats, etc...

I've been on the hunt to find a set of 09 PB floor mats for a year and a half now and haven't found one for sale. If only someone (COUGH SCDROPTOP COUGH) would sell me theirs, I would buy.

Nice!!! It was because of me saying that you have to get it now because of your forum username right?

So I signed the paperwork and will take delivery this coming Tuesday.

The dealership did not have the wheel lock key? Is this going to be a huge problem for me?

They did have two masters a valet key and a credit card key. One of the master keys is not working I am assuming it needs a new battery. The car also came with the key code blank.

It has the cargo net, second set of PB floor mats still in their plastic wrap. Is there anything else I should make sure I get when I pick up the car on Tuesday?

Thanks for all of your help and feedback.

The key to the wheel's lug nuts is critical. Without it you can't remove the wheels to rotate or replace tires. Either have them get you a new key, an entirely new set for all wheels. I'd also get the to order you a full set of owner's manuals. There are three; owner's, NAV and Maintenance.

1. Assuming a master key needs a new battery is a very bad idea. Before you buy - make the seller demonstrate the key works or ask them to replace it or give you $150 discount to buy another one.

2. Not having the key to the wheel locks is a huge problem. Do not under any circumstances accept delivery of the car unless they provide the wheel lock key. Ask the seller to find/obtain a wheel lock or pay $$$ to have the wheel locks drilled and removed. For example you could have a flat tire 15 minutes after you buy the car and drive away and be totally screwed because you can't get the wheel off to repair the flat.

BTW the wheel lock key is suppose to be attached to the lug wrench, on the shaft, with a nylon wire tie with the open end of the key slipping over the tool tray's plastic retaining nut. This would be a real deal breaker for me just cause it a real hassle to get replacement key, i.e. the right one. Here's a link to a site for WHEEL LOCK REPLACEMENT KEYS

If it is a McGard wheel Lock, you can easily get a key by sending in (email to them) a picture of your lock. Been there done that. Costs $15 shipped.

Default Update from Dealer.

The Salesman called me today to let me know they are going to remove all 4 wheellocks with their master key and replace them with 4 regular lugnuts. I am happy with this as I am not fan of wheellocks anyway. Full set of owners manuals, with DVD, all delivery tags, stickers, airbag tag, original delivery dealer keyfob.

I should be able to pick up the car this Wednesday or Thursday. Very excited here.
