Have a chance through a price match to get a set of 4 Continental Extreme DWS tires for about $600 . Any thoughts on this tire and the price? Price includes install, balance , etc. And tax. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the plus comments. I got the Conti's today at Discount Tire in Denver. With tax et al. Out the door price was 756$. In addition you get thru April a free Nook reader worth 100$! A great deal. One last thing, when they took off the Run Flats one of them was flat! I was lucky and car feels new with the Conti's!

Buy them...I just paid over $660 plus shipping and then had to pay to have them mounted and balanced. Same tires. Oh yeah, you get the Nook as well!! Great deal.!

Originally went to Sears to look for the Continentals and asked them to match the original off hand price of 160$ per tire given to me by an employee at Discount Tire in Littleton, Colorado. Sears said they would match any price and gave me a written quote for this price. I had to wait to pick up my new "used" car for three weeks. Got it last week and took it into the Discount store at University and 470 where they only charge 5 percent interest, the lowest in the Denver area. They matched the tire cost and the installation price and with the tax it came to the $750 figure. The Nook is an extra offered by Continental this month when you buy 4 tires with a price over $500. Yes these are the Contis's that are listed at Discount for $197 each. As I used to tell my students "shop around" and watch for when the company's offer a cash refund or other items such as the Nook. By the way, after the run flats, the Continentals are so quiet and ride like heaven! Now to find a spare RX8 tire or Supra spare!!!
