Default tire suggestions - couple of variables

So ive searched and read a few tire threads but for my situation there are a few issues I want to tackle and im sure some gurus on here will be able to help.

This is my current set up:

2IS WHEELS:

F 18x8 225/40/18 25MM SPACER
R 18x8.5 255/40/18 38MM SPACER

Im dropped 1" with TTE Springs.

What can I upgrade to that will give me a nicer ride (feel the road a little less) Im guessing going back to at least 245 up front.

I would also like smaller spacers in the future in order to reduce the strain im putting on the studs/bearings so really what is the widest tire with the thickest sidewall that will mount without rub if im stock other than the 1" TTE drop and .5inches wider in the back?

You can ignore the spacers because those will be changed to mtach the new tire set up or maybe even taken away all together at least in the front. I feel that the rear will always need them.

All input is appreciated but keep in mind im not looking for someone to suggest just buying new rims because yes I agree thats the best fix but its not going to happen for awhile Thanks again!

My suggestion is FR 235/45-18 and RR 255/40-18. But with stock 18x8 wheels 255 tire is pushing it. I have aftermarket 18x8.5 wheels.

I just changed my fronts to Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires. They are great! My back tires are still BF Goodrich super sport A/S and I will change to the Continentals when they are worn.

I dont have stock 18x8s I have ISx50 18x8.5 as indicated above. why 235/45 versus 245/40? It looks like there is plenty of room?

Im considering the Pilot Sport summer tire or the conti extreme summer tire. Currently on Hankook Ventus V12.... i like them a lot but I want to go wider. Any other input I think the JZWU posted assuming i was on pie plates.

According to tirerack, 255 is the widest recommended for 8.5 rim. I have 285 in the rear, so I understand why you want to go wider, but I guess the only choice is to buy new rims.

245-40-18 F & keep the rear with 255-40-18....The sc430 is quite comfort and soft with this setup. I have 235-45-18 on the OEM pie rim and it doesn't look good at all!!
