Default 400 HP!!(Twin Turbo Package)

Finally after searching long and hard I have found a way to increase the SC by 100 HP!!!!!!

I can't anounce the company yet but they have agreed to release a new TWIN TURBO PACKAGE to me and everyone who is interested.

Since our cars are still very new on the market it was very hard to find a company who actually thinks its worth it to release this type of addition.

I am in contact with the company and depending on how many people are interested will determine the price and its availabilty. The salesperson states that it will cost us about $3000.

Guy's it will be worth every dime!!!!!!!

P.S

Cadillac releases there 400hp hardtop drop Spring 2003, I am just a little sick when I think about driving on the highway along side of one without this twin turbo package.

Since this is such a major change, I am very interested in everyones comments.

Gene, Do you know what kind of gain is possible with the Blitz Supercharges?

i would have to say also $3000 impossible too, because they have to do R&D and since it such a low volume product the price would have to be high.

But hey if it is true good for you guys. the blitz supercharger sounds good 425HP to the rear wheels sounds great. That would most def keep you ahead of most cars on the road.

My T3's alone are $2200 dollars, never mind piping, electronics, oil lines, misc parts and install labor. Someone's blowing sunshine where it don't shine..

I don't think someone could do a TT ANYTHING for $3000 using USED parts let alone new.

Do the math.

turbochargers $600 - $1500 EACH depending on model, 2 required
wastegates $200-500 each (may be internal on turbo, may use 1, most use 2)
exhaust manifolds $300-1000 each, 2 required
downpipes $100-300 each, 2 required
compressor outlet plumbing $100-200, 2 required
intercoolers $400-1500 (not really optional, 1 or 2 required)
fuel system $$$
ignition control $$
odds and ends: brackets, heat shields, silicon hoses, clamps, nuts bolts washers, air filters, gaskets, boost gauge, etc, etc.

There is nothing better than a properly engineered turbosystem. BUT, it takes big bucks to do it right. A poorly engineered system should be avoided like the plague.

man 8.5K would be a great price for that kinda HP on the regular pulley. Will it come with everything needed? that must be on low boost too, because 425HP is easily made by that engine.

all of this is very interesting.

$8.5 to $10K ?? Forget it. I'll just sell my Lex and get an M3 with the SMG and all the other options. I'll still be ahead of the game.
