Door Rattles
Has anyone out there had the vibration and rattles in the door panel(s) fixed?
If so can you post what was done and how the results have been to date...I have an appt to take the car in for several things and this is one of the fixes I need to get done. I hate the idea of a great stereo that rattles all the time, or at least when the volume is turned up a little...Thanks

They take the door apart, tighten the speaker and pack the door with foam to reduce the vibrations. They had to do it 2x on mine before it was fixed and even now it will vibrate with certain low bass frequencies. The vibration is the wood panel on the drivers side door. Pressing the portion of the wood paneling closest to you will stop the vibration temporarily.

Door rattels
Everything that Fulmitz mentioned they did on my door as well and I was still not satisfied with the sound. So, on visit #3, my service manager had an entirely new door panel installed followed by the foam and wiring tightening....that seems to have done the trick...sounds great!
Now, if it weren't for the rattles in the passenger seat and top....

I've had my SC430 in 5 times for various rattles in both the driver's and passenger's side doors. Finally at the last service, they replaced both door panels and strongly insulated them heavily, and now the problem is pretty much fixed. The only rattle left is attributed to a the mid range driver, that emits a rattle like sound only at one specific frequency. Good luck!
