Will do, and I'm flattered that you might want this old clunker:

Timing belt? That photo reminds you of the timing belt?

FYI, passed on even driving the 2002 because I found out an old poker buddy of mine was the internet sales manager at one of the 2 local Lexus dealers. Went to see him and he had 2 SCs I could test drive. A 2007 Pebble Beach wht with red-12,500 miles CPO 3 yrs/100,00 trade in from their customer in divorce moving to RX. Asking $49,900 could probably get for $43,000-$44000 and a 2006 Pebble Beach with 55,000(actually traded in today so not cleaned nor worked on at all again by their own customer) that is brown with tan interior MAYBE? CPO 3yrs/100,000 miles after they inspect. Asking $31,000 could probably get for $28,000. 2007 is mint condition, 2006 looks good to vg. Got to test drive the 2007 with run flats and it was a pleasure. One issue for me though is that I seem to get alot more wind hitting the top of my head (I'm 6'4") then I did in my old 1998 Mercedes SL500. It seems the SC windshield has a lower rake and that the sun visors don't flip up above the winshield like my SL did. I know this is supposed to be a "wind through your hair experience"(in my case a "wind through what's left of my hair" LOL) but I was just curiuos if any other tall folks have a comparison between the wind rush on the SC vs. the SL. Not looking to spend 40 plus, problem though is wife fell in love with 2007, she said the 2007 SC was a "10" vs the 1998 SL being a "7".

LOL, no! When I saw your pic. and name I remembered your other post said you had low miles but owned since new and I was just curious about your "old" but "low" mileage belt.

I don't think it was replaced, but that could have been done during the 30,000 or 40,000 mile group of things the dealers do at that time. I will look at my records. If it has not been done, do you suggest that I have it changed the next time I have the car in for something (probably this fall). Thanks.

I picked up my 02 in Sept 2009 and it had 49K on it at the time. It has 64k now. Changed the timing belt at 55K in 2011. You may or may not be aware of the motor in the SC. It is an interference engine, meaning the valves can collide with the piston if the timing becomes off. Obviously a belt failure could lead there.

Even though I purchased a platinum extended warranty when I picked up the car. I was unwilling to take that risk beyond what I already had. It more of a peace of mind, enjoy the car when driving it feeling. Besides that the warranty has already paid for itself two fold, with my car suffering a very unusual failure with one of the roof hinges.

When the belt was replaced, it had show some wear but probably would NOT have failed anytime soon. So what it really comes down to on the timing belt, is your risk tolerance, versus warranty coverage and how long you intend to keep the car.
