Default newbie!

Hi, Misha here I am a proud owner of a SC430 2003 White Gold color. I have been wanting this car for years, and finally bought it out right.
I know it's not new , but the previous owner was very articulate in it's care with only 41,000.
and well maintained.
I love seeing others driving the same vehicle, can't enjoy all by myself.
Happy to be a part of this forum!!!

Welcome! I'm new too. I've had my 2008 SC for a month now. It was also my dream car.

Hello from the UK,

I pick up my new to me (2004) SC430 next Tuesday, a long time to wait! Silver with black leather.

Great forum you have here that has already helped me find a set of 5 point twist centre caps to replace the dinner plates on the car, and a set of tailored luggage for the boot (trunk?). Both now being shipped over here to the UK where parts for the car can be hard to find - not surprising really given there are only around 2000 SC430's in the country!

Car has been well looked after and the only big work being done before I collect is full refurb. of all four alloys, plus sorting out the TPMS. I asked the Honda dealer selling the car to check the TPMS system and they emailed today saying they are fitting brand new sensors all round! I'll see how that goes before deciding whether to disable them or not.

Will post pics next week.

Welcome to CL Mike, good to have another Brit on the forum. The guys (and girls) on here will be able to help with almost any query you may have.
If you are into modding your SC there are three of us around London on the forum who have modded there's. Where abouts are you based in the UK?

Best regards
Steve

Hi Steve and thanks for the welcome

I currently flit between Chertsey and Leighton Buzzard so not far from London. Not thought of modding, first want to get the car looking its best and might then look at a few subtle changes.

Your car looks the dogs in that pic! Be good to see it in the flesh sometime.

Cheers

Mike

Steve, would you be so kind to translate whatever Mike said for all of over here in the colonies across the pond? While it's true we share a common language, I'm not sure it that was a compliment or an insult...i.e. "...looks the dogs". LOL

Well that has given me a laugh this morning, Bob.
'the dogs b........ks' is actually a compliment in the UK. Usually used by the younger generation, which unfortunately I am not part of.
No idea where it came from or started, but how do I put this........it refers to the round things hanging down at the back of a dog.
Not even sure that you know or use THAT word over there! LOL

No problem Mike, gave me quite a laugh.

I am on the North London-Essex border.
You should look up the posts from Aquanuke(he is from the younger generation), he is in Surrey and his car is amazing, best in the UK.

We had a meet last year (around Oct) at the Ace Cafe in London. Hopefully it will be on again later this year.

Good luck and post some pics as soon as you get the car.

Best regards
Steve
