Okay, I give up - I've searched the forum and came up with nothing useful, so.....
What does the TXT button do on the radio ?
There is nothing in any of the manuals - that I can find anyway.
I thought it may display the text available on many RDS broadcasts, or even he CD-Text available on many CD's - but it doesn't.
Does anyone have any documentation on this at all ?
While I'm here, I thought I"d also re-post if there is any combination of buttons I can press to allow me to see KM & L instead of miles & gallons on the trip computer - I know I can disable/enable the seatbelt chime by a series of magic button presses without visiting a dealer so just seeing if anyone knows this.

As standard - without pushing the TXT button - the radio gives out the names of UK radio stations.
In the past I've had RDS radios in the house that have scrolled long messages around the track currently being played or the traffic conditions.
Sort of expecting the Lexus to do that but it doesn't - which I can understand because its a safety issue to have to read it - but I'd like the choice !!
