Fog light LED mod - anyone?
Found these on ebay, and wondered if anyone had tried them out?

It's all about adding tastefull pieces to your car, so I think that adding the fog light you are looking at would take away from the car since you already have a fog light built in. If you take the existing fog light out and make the one you are looking at blend in with the look of the SC then you have something. I have seen modifications to Toyotas that make me cringe but to each is own.

Yes, I am talking about taking out the original and in that slot adding the led. I have found on this forum someone adding a round led light, When I look at upgrading the rear tail light to the new style led light, I think it would look sharp to find an upgrade to the front also.

Reading the description, this item appears to be best suited for a 13 year old Kia than a newer Lexus coupe (Kia is listed in the description). I think that says something about the target audience for this item

I'd only consider this if I wanted the SC430 to look like the late 1990's-era Kia's that I see parked illegally in the ghetto in front of government-subsided housing projects with gangster-rap blasting out of the Pep-Boys style speakers taped to the doors, and that haven't seen a car wash or a state safety/smog inspection since 2005
In simple terms, I would keep a luxury car looking luxury and avoid this cheap knock-off.

I appreciate and unerstand your comment, but instead of telling me what not to do, point me in a direction of what you have seen that is good, or what you would do.
I want it to look great, I just need to see an idea of what others have done. I am anxiously awaiting to see what gottgitmines does.

Adding a LED would require some custom work and if you are handy then go for it. I wanted to update my car as well and did a custom bumper but I would suggest to look for a aftermarket front bumper that will give your front a whole new look. Here I used Mercedes R Class LEDs on a hybrid SC/Jaguar XJL bumper.
