Exhaust Install for Rollaboy
Had my cat back custom exhaust made a couple of years ago, but I have been asked to post some pictures of it by Rollaboy.
I have since removed the old heatshield as it was not required.
Hope they help.
Best regards
Steve

Thanks alot Steve
Yeah the past few weeks i have been looking and reading alot in the SC forum. I came from the LS400 forum but now i just bought a SC430. I have alot of plans and already spend way too much money on ordered all kind of parts from around the globe i hope the weather is better tomorrow so i can snap some pictures of my new baby so i can post them in the forum.
But Steve, that exhaust setup looks very nice. Thanks alot with the pictures. Makes it so much easier to see what mods i will be able to do also.
And yeah you sure have to make a new video of the sound of it drive by etc.
Everybody vote for videoclip

Thanks Harold and Edmond
The guy who made the exhaust for me was great. We spent a long time trying different set ups and he knew how each would sound before he hooked it all up.
We decided to add the small rear boxes as they took the 'harshness' out of the sound and now I just love to hear it when it first starts up.
It has a lovely 'burble' at idle, just as a V8 should sound IMHO.
There is a bit of a drone at low speed and when you are gentle on the gas, but no drone at motorway speeds.
When you drop a gear and step on the gas it sound superb and with the Injen intake fitted the noise is a real headturner.
As I said I will make a video when I can and post it on Youtube (if I can work out how).
I have said before on CL that I hardly ever listen to the stereo as I prefer the noise of the exhaust. lol
Best regards

It was custom made from scratch by Longlife Stainless Steel Exhaust Systems (hence the picture of the machine that does the bending and flaring).
They will make an exhaust for any car to the customers requirements and give a lifetime guarantee.
Took about six hours total and I was involved the whole time. Obviously it depends on how enthusiastic the maker is as to how it turns out. I may of been lucky that I found the right one.
Best regards
