Question gps antenna

2002 sc430 nav problem can anyone tell me where/what do the gps antenna connect to

well I am pretty sure the GPS antenna connects to the NAV unit in the trunk.

the antenna is located beneath the windshield the display is in the dash the control unit is in the trunk the cable is too short to reach the trunk I was hoping that someone who actually knew what they was talking about answered

i have no gps icon on screen i wanted to know if it plugged into the radio or in to the nav unit

yes i'm sure one of them do now be a dear and pls look to see where is the first connection from the antenna is made at tks in advance

i wanted to know so i would remove the correct piece because i can remove the nav unit with removing the radio or vise-versa

as far as if the antenna is disconnected i have no idea i had the airbag recall done was wondering if it was possible that the antenna could have been disconnected while they performed the recall fix never used the car gps as i had always used my phone but if it's there i want it to at least function and I like your humor these and dem's

Take a look at the pic. I think the GPS antenna connects to another cable in the dash area.

did you locate the GPS antenna connector?

like I said before, I think the cable goes to the NAV ECU in the trunk.

yes, I would agree that they might have disconnected the connector and I think it may be located behind the glovebox area.

we had a big discussion on what to do before dropping the car at the dealer for the airbag actuator recall.
