Default foggy AC faceplate

several months ago I inquired about removing the face plate on the AC controls to clean the "foggy" film. several comments were forthcoming, before and after pics, materials used but no one has answered HOW TO REMOVE THE FACE PLATE. PLEASE!

The fogginess comes from the outer surface of the faceplate (same as the radio faceplate). For the radio faceplate, I used PLASTX. Use it carefully and sparingly. It will remove the anti-glare film (that turned foggy). You will have clearer faceplate but will see glare.

I was ok with the glare if any.

YMMV.

The film is on the INSIDE of the face plate.
