I love bass, so thinking about getting those rockford fosgate pss8-6 units to replace the 6x9 door speakers. Anyone know if these are appropriate? I want bass, but don't understand if these will only give me bass, and I will lose the rest of the song. Thoughts?

Those rockford fosgate were my 2nd choice. They are more efficient than the silver flute for the amp to drive. Haven't heard them so can't really comment on sound quality...

Door panel will come off - make sure two pins are removed and all screws, then lift up. It may take a little effort but will come off. Easy access to all three speakers to repair/replace as needed.
