okay. my last thread was regarding the dead battery. after recharging it, the car starts but.......
1. the seat memory buttons stop working
but wait
2. the radio that hasn't worked in 8 months since i own the car is working![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
what really happened. any input would be very helpful.
when the radio wasn't working, i tried to put in new fuses and that didn't help. but a dead battery did.

Not sure why the radio stopped and then starter working again but the memory seats issue is very common after a battery problem. Here is a link to another post about that issue :

See JohnnyCakes reply at Post #4 for detailed instructions to reset the memory seats. You might have to do it for both seats.

Do this for BOTH FRONT SEATS
1- move seat all the way forward and you will hear a single beep
2- TILT seat back all the way FORWARD and you will hear a single beep.
Repeat to other seat.
After doing that you can reset seat memory.
---------
After removing battery the Nav system goes to all defaults
1- select the proper region/area or it will not be able to find POI's on your area. Select DESTINATION SCREEN, on upper left side select Change. Sellect your area and OK
2- I also reset speed selector so that hwy uses 70 mph instead of 55 mph to accurately calculate time to destination. Your hwy speeds may be different in youi locality. Go to MENU, SETUP, to the right of the Estimated Travel time select SET SPEED, change speeds, hit OK
3- select toll roads etc or it will try to avoid them and drive you nuts. MAIN MAP SCREEN, select ROUTE, ROUTE PREFERENCE, make sure yellow is lit on preferences you want. I enable all of them. Hit OK
All radio preset stations need to be reset
I think that's all that needs to be reset.

The dead battery most likely reset the radio. Disconnecting the battery for several minutes and reconnecting it seems to resolve several issues with these cars. POPO fixes computer lock ups many times when the logic circuits get confused. POPO = Power OFF, Power ON.
