Black Interior with Bird's Eye Maple ???

Not Possible
Although there are some various combinations of exterior and interior colors that are allowed and not allowed (meaning not all 3 interior leather colors come with all exterior colors), the bird's eye maple trim comes only with the ecru interior, which is the only one that has it.
The black and saddle leather interiors come only with the dark wood.
No exceptions.
Sorry.
You could paint it, though.

No such thing
Larry:
If you do find a photo showing bird's eye maple trim with the black leather interior on an SC430, then somebody has too much time on his hands because he either dummied up the shot with Photoshop or actually redid the wood trim in the car, neither of which makes much sense, and indicates problems too complex for us to deal with here.

I have the maple/ecru/egyptian tan combo. I started with the maple as my first criteria because I like it so much, the ecru fell in as the only option with the maple, and finally the egyptian tan ... although the yellowish maple and pinkish metalic tan and the greenish glass are more than a bit problematic. The maple is one of the truly unique options and you either like it or don't much care for it. The dark wood is just to dark and to red.
In general, I find the color combo's offered on the sc to be more than a bit limited and problematic. The yellowness of the bird's eye maple could be toned down and the maple could be offered with the tan/black interiors. More "lighter" exterior colors would be welcome.

I agree
Generally, I don't like to express an opinion about colors on a board like this, because there is no accounting for taste, and someone will be offended, but since someone else started it, I agree that I find the dark wood very red and dark. Originally, I started out wanting the dark wood, based on the early photos and chips at the dealer's showroom (before the car went on sale).
There is nothing like seeing it in person. I did not think I would like the light wood, but when I saw a black/black side by side with a black/ecru (which is what I bought), I thought it looked pretty neat.
The car is unusual enough to start with, so why not make a bold fashion statement while you are at it. I get many compliments on the light wood, and most people seem to like it.
I never did like the "saddle," so it was either white or black for the leather interior.
It's hard (but fun, still) keeping the black exterior clean, and the same thing goes for the white interior, which is probably why I like it so much.
It do turn heads.

Limited car
I, too, was disappointed in the limited choice of colors, but generally speaking, the smaller the production run, the fewer colors that will be available. Exceptions are expensive. I know that you can order a Porsche 911 in almost any color you want, and you can even send them a sample of a color and they will do it for you, but it will cost extra. But there is usually a red one and a black one available on the lot. (Where do those yellow ones come from?)
I think the US market for the SC430 is only estimated at 20,000/year, which is a pretty small number of vehicles.
