While having some routine maintenance done on my SC430 today, I came across a LFA at the dealership for sale. According the salesman, only 500 were made, and of those 500, 188 of them were sold in the US. He said it was also the fourth fastest car made, with the Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti ahead of it. It has an MSRP of $386k, but was told that a $50k premium would be added to the MSRP for a total sales price of $436k. Very nice looking car, but am not sure the iPhone photos do it justice.
As much as I love the brand. This is one car that really price itself out of the brand. I know it's limited production and packed with gizmos that can take you to the moon, but half a mil for it?? There are many other choices out there regardless of the reliability Lexus has.
Personal opinion only, don't take it wrong way guys.

And I think even at MSRP, Toyota is losing some money on every LFA they sell. More halo effect and brand cachet for Toyota/Lexus than a really profitable business line.
