Hi,
I got 2002 SC430 with 59,000 Miles, all of the sudden my car doesn't have any acceleration at all. When I press gas paddle it doesn't do anything, but engine stay on. I couldn't get any error codes since I changed batteries to make sure if it wasn't the battery..

will the engine rev normally with the car in park or neutral?

Was the engine malfunction light illuminated before you changed out the battery?

Check the obvious first of course. There is a connector above the accelerator pedal for the fly by wire module. Check the fuse for the fly by wire if there were one. Shift to first gear to see if it goes. I'm sure others will chime in to give you more ideas.

I had similar where I had to push pedal to floor and the car barely moved.

It was after car had problems starting due to low-battery.

In true microsoft tradition off then on again and it was fine.

So check battery charge and connections.

Might be a throttle response issue. I'd look into that.
