Is the 38psi for runflats for real?
Hi,
Has anyone tried the supposed new tire pressure for runflats of 38, as opposed to 33 on the door?
Has it helped the ride? I don't see how it could make is softer, only worse, but I'm open to anything.
Has this pressure change been confirmed for sure? Is this official from Lexus?
Thanks

Lexus Champion
33 psi cold tire and 38 psi hot tire, I mean after driving for an hour and the outside temp. is around 70 degrees. Lexus got a 4 pages TSB on this thing and it can be up to 40.2 psi(as in the TSB) on the hot day and been driving for over an hour.

psi
I keep my 20,000 run-flats at 38psi (@ cold). Don't notice appreciable increased hardness in ride.....Same hard ride..... as it was at 33...but, the car is more manuverable, "smoother" turning....and, for some wacky reason, I don't hear a couple of the little rattles I used to.....go figure!!!!!!! p.s. don't put off your tire rotation...I think its more impt with the RFs
