02 with 37K for $25K or 06 with 75K for 23k ?
What do you guys think.? I finally found 2 clean SC
They are both price very close
The problem is one is 02 with less mileage and 1 is 06 with more mileage
02 is Gold $25K
06 is Silver $23K
What do you guys think ? 02 or 06 ?
The 06 is very clean with front bumper and hood repainted from the dealer
The 02 is all original
Let the community decide
Thx guys

Get the 06. If the repaint is only due to cosmatic reason and otherwise clean, I won't worry about it. Besides, if you decided to keep your car for a long period of time, you might run into repainting the front end down the road anyway. Other than this, I think the silver is a better color IMO.

Get the 06. It is a huge step up from 02, like a modern car vs. an antique car. LOL
When I was looking for the SC430 3 years ago, I found an 02 and an 06 with same color (black) and same mileage (50k) but the 06 was $10k more.
Search the forum for changes on 06+.

I agree that the 02 is priced a little high. Maybe 20k for the 02 would make it a tough decision. I think the higher mileage with the 06 is fairly meaningless if it was treated well with all servicing.

I finally pulled the trigger and am the proud owner of a 06 Silver black 75K SC. The thing is really nice. I had to drive 3hours to get the car. The interior and the body is clean ( other than the inevitable respray of the hood and the bumper) from the dealer .
Q
How do you guys avoid getting the front bumper from being scraped? I brought the car to a detailer and got the bottom scaped as I try to pull out of a avg driveway. Do yo uguys try the angle approach when pulling out of a steep driveway or do you back the car out of a steep driveway ?
cheers

Congratulations.
I pull out at an angle going as slow as needed for the angle.

That I s exactly what I did
Bought the silver black 06 with 75K miles SC
Clean throughout other than hood and bumper repainted from the dealer
I think the 06 is probably a step up as far as transmission , rear and front AD head lights
