Not under wide open throttle, WOT. There is no difference. If you floor it she shifts at redline (around 6400 rpm) or close to it. Every gear. Believe me, I have verified this a number of times. I'm not talking about normal driving I'm talking pedal to the metal. If your car is not shifting at redline under WOT then reset the ECU.
